A good pair of sneakers is an investment, and ten minutes of care a month keeps them looking box-fresh for years. Here's the routine we recommend, material by material.
Leather and synthetic uppers
Wipe weekly with a damp microfibre cloth. For deeper cleans, a drop of mild soap in warm water works on most finishes — always spot-test first, and never put leather pairs in a washing machine.
Suede and nubuck
Keep a suede brush and eraser on hand. Brush with the nap, not against it, and treat stains dry before reaching for any liquid cleaner. A water-repellent spray applied when new prevents most stains from setting at all.
Knit and mesh
Dry brushing removes most surface dirt. For stubborn marks, dab with diluted soap and blot — soaking knit uppers breaks down glue lines over time.
Storage and rotation
Sunlight yellows midsoles and heat warps shapes, so store pairs in a cool, dry spot away from windows. Rotating between at least two pairs lets foam midsoles decompress between wears — they genuinely last longer. If your rotation needs reinforcements, New In and Best Sellers are the places to start.
